Oasis Physical Therapy, Inc. is a leading outpatient rehabilitation center located in Ossining, New York. You will be working onsite in our outpatient office, which provides a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. The clinic is designed for efficiency, allowing for ample interaction with patients as well as collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and identify treatment needs.
• Formulate and execute personalized treatment plans that focus on enhancing patients' strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, to address physical impairments effectively.
• Carefully monitor patient progress, documenting findings and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a cohesive care strategy that addresses the holistic needs of each patient.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and preventive strategies to maintain physical health.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations as well as professional standards in all aspects of care delivery.

In this role, you will primarily serve an outpatient population that includes a variety of individuals with musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation needs, and elderly patients requiring specialized care. You will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of geriatric and orthopedic physical therapy, developing tailored approaches to support their recovery processes.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required, although a Master's Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with patients and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational abilities and interpersonal skills are necessary to thrive in our fast-paced clinical environment.
• A commitment to ongoing professional growth and continuing education is highly valued.

We seek candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or acute care setting, with exposure to a geriatric population. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and prior experience implementing evidence-based practices will set you apart.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
