What is an Oapse?

OAPSE stands for the Ohio Association of Public School Employees, a labor union that represents support staff working in Ohio's public schools, community colleges, libraries, and other public institutions. Members include bus drivers, custodians, secretaries, food service workers, teacher aides, and many others who help schools and public facilities run smoothly. OAPSE advocates for fair wages, benefits, and safe working conditions for its members while also providing training, legal support, and collective bargaining representation. The union plays a vital role in ensuring that non-teaching staff have a voice in their workplaces and communities.
