Job description

NYU Langone Health is actively hiring for CT Technologists for our campuses in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island.

Per diem, part time and full time opportunities are available with day, evening or overnight shifts.

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures. Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • New York State license
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment (For some positions)
  • Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $112,111 - $117,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
