Social Worker - Oncology - NYP/Queens - Full Time Day

New York-Presbyterian/Queens, located in the wonderfully diverse neighborhood of Flushing, Queens, is a community teaching hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, serving Queens and metro New York residents.

We are seeking a Social Worker for our Oncology office. Experience a place where Social Workers are respected. Utilize your inpatient experience to provide a variety of psychosocial services, coordinate discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families from across the world. Assist them in enhancing their capabilities of coping with illness and daily functioning. Here, you will experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field.

This is a day shift 8AM - 4PM; Monday - Friday at NYP/Queens Hospital in Flushing, NY.

Preferred Criteria

  • Discharge Planning experience

  • LCSW

Required Criteria

  • At least one year of Oncology experience

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)

  • New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
