Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Night Auditor in a brand of lifestyle hotel, at an iconic location in Downtown NYC. The hotel is part of the award-winning German-based Motel One group. Join our team and seize this unique opportunity!
Your responsibilities
The focus of this role is on the professional care of our hotel guests. Building a relationship with our guests is one of the key factors to making their stay an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will also include the following:
  • Conduct check-ins and check-outs and assist guests as they arrive and depart.
  • Provide quality customer services with a smile to all hotel guests.
  • Share local concierge knowledge with guests as needed.
  • Assume responsibility of the hotel and operations during the night shift
  • Take ownership and accountability for the hotel and its guests, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Conduct day-end closing reports, postings and nightly closing processes.
  • Gain insights into new tasks by working together with other departments.
  • Check and organize night audit closing package for accounting manager to review and close the daily business
  • Checking pre-paid payments via OTA's, and Hotel pre-arrival check-in system
  • Verifying and checking all F&B daily reports and ensuring correct postings into hotel reservation system (Opera)

Qualifications
What you should bring
  • At least one year of hotel or hospitality experience.
  • Proven computer skills in Microsoft programs.
  • You are reliable, enjoy hosting and have a passion for the hotel industry.
  • A sincere and positive, proactive attitude focused on team support and development.
  • You are eager to develop your career and work well in diverse, multicultural teams.
  • You are open, welcoming, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • You maintain a neat outer appearance, positive charisma, and good manners at all times.
  • You exhibit a high level of quality awareness and a strong focus on providing exceptional service.
  • FLSD Certification would be highly regarded.
