Job Description: Position Summary, Cleanroom Operator Level III Team Lead The Cleanroom Operator Level III Team Lead independently operates and maintains complex cleanroom tools and tool clusters, performing inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.

The selected candidate will serve as a technical leader and key resource, providing training, mentoring, and direct support to Cleanroom Operators and management and ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operations while interfacing with engineers, vendors, and supervisors as needed. Overtime and potential Emergency Response Team participation may be required. Key Responsibilities Operating several tools/tool clusters of a complex nature.

Performs some/all of the following activities: inspection, test, diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting new and previous tool installations (which are very complex in nature), and needs no assistance in recognizing and resolving tool problems. May be involved in new, unusual or more involved designs, layouts, products, devices, methods, or procedure. Spends significant time providing technical direct and assistance to the other technical personnel and to management, and may be held accountable for results.

Provides leadership to others and is a key resource inside and outside of the organization. Works independently, demonstrates leadership by spending significant time on the fab floor anticipating and providing technical direct, training, and assistance to other Cleanroom Operators. Incumbent recognizes errors in a wide variety of own and others' work or defects or inaccuracies which could lead to scrap and takes actions to prevent or correct problems.

Participating in training/mentoring Cleanroom Operator level I, level II and level III staff. Participating in the scheduling of other staff to ensure smooth operation of the clean room/production line. Identify functional problems, take corrective action, & interface with supervisors, engineers & vendors to explain problems.

Ensure that MPS's, Controlled Environmental Clean room, and Safety guidelines are followed and understood by Cleanroom Operator staff. Membership in the Emergency Response Team is a possibility. Must have the ability to work OT as needed.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications, Cleanroom Operator Level III Team Lead Candidates must be able to perform all the duties associated with level 1 & 2 Cleanroom Operator job descriptions. Must obtain a Level 3 certification on assigned tool sets. This position requires a minimum of an associate degree in a relevant technical AND two to five years of equivalent experience.

OR Equivalent educational and professional experience and training associated in a highly technical/engineering environment. The determination to the applicability and relevance of the candidate's qualifications resides solely with SUNY RF/NY Creates. Candidates must have good mechanical skills, excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Possess good written and verbal communication skills, Well organized with attention to detail, have the ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment as well as be available to overtime work.

Advanced knowledge and operations of SIVIEW applications Ability to participate in tool recipe building and adjustments. Ability to wear a respirator (half face/full face), if assigned to the photolithography department Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift. This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
