Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVICU RN for a night shift position requiring Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience.

Details
  • Work in the CV Thoracic Transplant ICU of a hospital environment
  • Care for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients
  • 2:1 patient ratios including patients with devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • 13-week assignment
Requirements
  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience required
  • NxStage experience preferred
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Additional Information
  • Provide critical care nursing to complex cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients
