NVR's Thurmont Manufacturing Plant is looking to add a member to our delivery driver team. This person will be responsible for moving materials within our Fayetteville Plant. NVR-Thurmont offers a fast-paced work environment, a career-oriented company, excellent work-life balance, and long-term growth opportunities. A person with the right knowledge, as well as the right attitude, is of the utmost importance.
Starting Pay is $25.05 per hour
This is a day shift position, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm Mon-Fri
Primary Responsibilities
• Responsible for transporting material to jobsites via flat bed trailers and/or box trucks.
• Ensure safe conditions for co-workers and other ground personnel.
• Ensure safe transport of materials, including securing all loads properly before transport.
• Responsible for performing production functions within the plant when not delivering material to the jobsite.
Qualifications
• Driving or delivery experience required
• Must be 23 years of age or older
• Must abide by all DOT regulations
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work in a strong-safety focused environment
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work as a team to achieve delivery and productivity goals
• Ability to work inside or outside
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, details available upon interview.
• Ability to perform other manufacturing job functions as required
