Job description

The Nuvance Health Medical Practice (NHMP) Division of Neurosciences is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established and successful Neurology practice located in the new Multispecialty center in Kingston, NY.
Job Highlights:
  • Provide neurological care to patients with physician collaboration and mentoring
  • Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination and diagnostic studies
  • Manage an independent panel of patients
  • Relay appropriate information regarding patient care to the physician
  • Utilize Cerner EMR to document patient information
  • Interact with clinical and administrative staff for optimal patient care
  • Position is outpatient with rounding at Northern Dutchess Hospital
  • Monday-Friday schedule (8am-4:30pm)
Qualifications:
  • Master of Science in Nursing
  • NYS Nurse Practitioner License
  • Neurology experience required
