This individual will install, repair, and maintain electrical distribution systems for the plant, providing power for machines, equipment, lighting, and facilities in accordance with codes, regulations, and safety specifications.

โ€ข Shift: 5:00 PM โ€“ 5:00 AM, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday
โ€ข Ability to work a non-standard schedule as needed

Responsibilities: Essential Duties
โ€ข Performs scheduled maintenance on facilities equipment and systems
โ€ข Repairs malfunctions of machines, systems, and auxiliary equipment
โ€ข Routinely checks machinery and systems for signs of faults to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions
โ€ข Initiates improvements to the functionality of facilities equipment and systems to increase efficiency
โ€ข Senior position may act as a team leader to ensure work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members
โ€ข Must demonstrate knowledge of field policies, procedures, and practices
โ€ข Documents activities accordingly
โ€ข Mounts components on chassis or panels in proper sequence; installs and connects wiring harnesses to terminals; energizes and tests circuits; adjusts and calibrates units for proper operation and reliable service
โ€ข Evaluates critical situations, consults with supervisory staff, and proposes corrective actions
