Travel Pediatric Dietitian Jobs – Hospital-Based Role in Baltimore, MD 21209

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric dietitian experience required
  • Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field preferred/required per compliance criteria
  • Completion of required coursework, dietetic internship, and passing score on the CDR exam
  • Active Maryland Dietitian license
  • Registered Dietitian credential with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
  • BLS certification required
  • Meditech charting experience required
  • Experience with pediatric inpatient and outpatient nutrition care strongly preferred
  • Comfort working with adolescents, infants, and pediatric patients
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Responsibilities
  • Assess patients’ nutritional status and develop individualized medical nutrition therapy plans
  • Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, caregivers, and families
  • Document recommendations and treatment plans accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds with medical, nursing, and rehab teams
  • Coordinate care with the broader care team to support optimal pediatric nutrition outcomes
  • Support inpatient and ambulatory care patients across multiple pediatric nutrition programs
  • Assist with complex diagnoses including GI complications, tube feedings, short gut, and nutrition support cases
  • Contribute to group education sessions and outpatient clinic support as scheduled
  • Follow hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and compliance standards
