Hourly Pay Range:

Position Highlights:

Position Summary:
Support and maintain the operations of the medical simulation lab to ensure effective delivery of training and simulation scenarios for healthcare staff. Collaborate with clinical educators and facilitators to manage the functionality of simulation equipment, maintain lab readiness, and troubleshoot technical issues during sessions.
What you will do:

  • Set up and configure simulation equipment, including manikins and medical devices, for various training scenarios.

  • Provide technical support during simulation sessions to ensure smooth operation.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of simulation equipment.

  • Collaborate with clinical educators to ensure simulation content aligns with learning objectives.

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for simulation activities.

  • Assist in developing policies and procedures for lab usage and maintenance.

What you will need:

  • Education: High School Required or Bachelors Degree Preferred

  • Experience: Experience in a healthcare environment or with medical simulation equipment (preferred)

  • Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting Laerdal simulation products, including SimMan, SimBaby, and other advanced manikins. Strong understanding of simulation-based education principles, including scenario setup, debriefing tools, and learner-centered methodologies. Technical aptitude for maintaining, calibrating, and repairing medical simulation equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy. Familiarity with software platforms such as Laerdal LLEAP and SimStation for session management, data collection, and performance evaluation. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting educators and clinical staff in delivering high-quality simulation experiences. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage equipment inventories and resolve technical issues promptly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and assist users inutilizing simulation equipment and software.
