Prosper Infusion is the leading home infusion pharmacy in Florida, providing concierge-level care for patients with rare diseases. We are hiring for a Nursing Manager will help our Director of Nursing maintain high quality care and compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Perfect role for someone exhausted from working in a clinic or hospital and instead wants to build a long-term career in an administrative first role.

This role will primarily work out of our Tampa or Sarasota office, M-F, 8:30a-5pm. It will require the candidate to help review and managing paperwork, educate and train our nursing teams, respond to patient inquiries related to nursing, and interact with our nurses and nurse agency partners. In the absence of the Director of Nursing, assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.

The Nursing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Educating and informing patients IV and SC therapies in person and by phone
  • Working with patients in a friendly, calm and efficient manner while maintaining safety
  • Providing consultations to patients and/or family members, reviewing health history, reasons for therapy and completing all required forms (i.e., consent, assessments, and nursing notes)
  • Prepares clinical and progress notes, helps coordinates services, and informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient’s conditions and needs
  • Initiates appropriate preventative nursing procedures
  • Working with our pharmacists to plan and order supplies
  • Consulting with Prosper Infusion pharmacists and the Medical Director, as needed
  • High ethics and integrity and able to work independently and with a team
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures and maintains compliance at all times
  • Assists with other services as needed
  • Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner

Required Qualifications

  • Currently licensed as a RN in the state of Florida.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
  • 2 years with infusion care preferred; At least 1 years of nursing supervisory experience preferred.
  • As a Registered Nurse (RN) you are responsible for ensuring clinical excellence according to established policies and procedures.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including excel.
  • Able to independently work out of the Tampa or Sarasota office
  • Attention to detail when it comes to reviewing nursing notes
