RN (Registered Nursing) Instructor (Continuous Adjunct Pool)
Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a POOL recruitment designed to collect application materials on an on-going basis to fill part-time (adjunct) positions for the Nursing Department. As openings for temporary, part-time nursing instructors become available, candidates may be selected from this pool of applicants.

Required Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, cultural background, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty, and staff.
AND
Master's in nursing OR Bachelor's in nursing AND Master's in health education or health science OR the equivalent OR the minimum qualifications as set by the Board of Registered Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing OR An Associate degree in Nursing; AND
A minimum of one year of continuous full-time experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care; AND completion of at least one year (two semesters/three quarters) experience teaching courses/clinical rotations related to nursing or a course which includes practice in teaching nursing.
