Responsibilities

  • Assess all new admissions, determining appropriateness for Registered Nurse delegation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act

  • Ensure thorough and timely documentation of all care provided throughout the nursing department

  • Ensure thorough assessment of patients and completion of necessary follow up as applicable

  • Ensure thorough monitoring of patients

  • Provide supervision, support, guidance, and development of staff members

  • Ensure adherence to administrative processes within the nursing department

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing

  • 3+ years of experience preferred

  • Ability to work effectively with patients, families, stakeholders, and team members

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with patients and team members

  • Pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
