Job description

ASC Towson is looking for a  Registered Nurse to join our team! 

About Us:

We strive to provide excellence in urologic surgical care by treating each and every one of our patients, and their families, as if they were our own family member – each patient, each family, each and every time.  

About The Role:

Monday through Friday with no nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no call.

At Summit, we know that nurses are the backbone of the ASC. For us, that means building a cohesive team that is cross trained to provide exceptional patient care in all areas of the ASC including pre-op, PACU, the OR and procedure rooms. Our team primarily works at their home ASC, but on occasion, is asked travel to other ASCs within the area. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

About You:

You are a team player who is looking for a position where you can be more than just a number and really contribute to the success of a growing and thriving healthcare organization.

You have a degree in nursing, an RN license in the State of Maryland and BLS, ACLS and maybe even PALS. 

Your experience includes working in a fast-paced, healthcare environment. Ideally, you have experience in a perioperative role at an ASC or hospital, but if not, you may have worked in an ED or on L&D. Any experience with urology of course means urine business!  

Qualifications:

  • Accredited Nursing degree (BSN preferred) 
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in perioperative care.
  • CPR and ACLS certification is required.
