Senior / Advanced Lung Disease Sales Specialist

Rare Disease Biotech | Richmond, Virginia Territory


A leading, innovation-driven biotech company is expanding its specialty sales team and is seeking an experienced pulmonary sales professional to join a high-performing commercial organization focused on rare and serious lung diseases.


This is an opportunity to represent a market-leading portfolio in Pulmonary Hypertension (PH-ILD), Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), while working within a company known for its strong pipeline, patient-first culture, and long-term investment in rare disease innovation.


The role offers genuine ownership of territory strategy, strong exposure to major academic and institutional accounts, and the opportunity to partner closely with pulmonologists, specialty pharmacies, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance across a defined Richmond, VA territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with pulmonologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and key institutional stakeholders
  • Educate healthcare professionals on complex pulmonary disease states and specialty therapies
  • Develop strategic territory business plans to maximize growth opportunities

  • Experience in PH, ILD, IPF, respiratory biologics, or specialty pharmacy highly desirable
