Delivery & Event Support Specialist (FT)
Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Assist management with daily route planning and delivery logistics to improve efficiency and workflow organization.
  • Help create and organize driver assignments for daily delivery schedules.
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets containing daily orders, delivery routes, and assigned drivers.
  • Prepare route packets and organize order documentation, including tent cards and client materials.
  • Support operational coordination between kitchen staff, drivers, and management to ensure smooth daily execution.
  • Assist in overseeing delivery readiness, order accuracy, and team organization before route departures.
  • Provide leadership support by helping train staff, answering operational questions, and maintaining service standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Organize and prepare multiple corporate drop-off orders for delivery, often handling several orders per route.
  • Carefully review order sheets to verify client details, delivery instructions, food items, beverages, disposable supplies, and required equipment.
  • Assemble and organize catering equipment including disposable service-ware, utensils, beverage supplies, chafers, and additional requested setup materials.
  • Prepare and brew coffee service for orders requiring beverage stations, including gathering cups, sugars, stirrers, and accompaniments.

  • Represent Monumental Food and Main Event Caterers professionally while maintaining high service standards in fast-paced environments.
  • Train and mentor new team members on delivery procedures, customer service expectations, setup standards, route organization, and operational workflow.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively resolve problems, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong detail orientation with the ability to meet strict deadlines consistently.
  • Able to be flexible, adapt to and respond to change, make sound decisions in stressful situations, and prioritize tasks and projects effectively.
  • Language Proficiency: Bi-lingual in Spanish is required.
Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
