Job description

RN/LPN Nurse Manager

Lead with Compassion. Deliver Excellence in Care.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN or LPN Nurse Manager to provide clinical leadership within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, supporting and mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting exceptional resident outcomes.

This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced post-acute and long-term care setting and is committed to delivering quality resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily oversight of nursing operations on assigned units.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct rounds and address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation staff, social services, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and employee performance management.
  • Participate in infection prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Support admissions, care planning, and discharge processes.
  • Prepare for and participate in state surveys and audits.
Qualifications Required
  • Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
  • Skilled nursing facility (SNF), rehabilitation, or long-term care experience.
  • Experience managing staffing and clinical operations.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with PointClickCare or similar EMR systems.
Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • Weekend rotation as needed
  • On-call leadership support responsibilities may be required
Compensation

LPN Nurse Manager: Up to $45/hr

RN Nurse Manager: Up to $55/hr

Compensation will be based on experience, licensure, and leadership background.
