What You’ll Do

As a PMH-NP, you’ll provide psychiatric care across senior living environments, including skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, and independent living facilities.

Your day will include:

  • Seeing 16-20 adult and geriatric patients daily across facility sites
  • Performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Diagnosing and treating mental health disorders and dementia
  • Developing and managing individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribing and managing psychiatric medications
  • Ordering and interpreting relevant labs and diagnostics
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and billing
  • Applying clinical judgment in both routine and complex situations
