Local Team Collaboration:
  • Join our close-knit group of 12 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Brockton Hospital.
  • We are fortunate to have a dedicated site coordinator assigned to this team who will help maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Our clinical performance nurse will assist in delivering an exceptional patient care experience.

Qualifications:
  • Acute Care Board-certified nurse practitioner.
  • Acute care experience is required. Pre-Admission Testing experience Preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:
  • Full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Shifts for the position are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the patient's current health, manage anesthesia risks, and optimize their condition for safe surgery.
  • Review the patient's medical history, conduct physical exams, and order necessary tests.
  • Identify and manage medical conditions that may impact surgical outcomes and collaborate with specialists when needed.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to surgeons, the anesthesiology team, and primary care providers to coordinate care.
  • We use Meditech and have access to our internal informatics platform.
