Job description

Radiation Therapist

You will administer radiation treatments according to the prescription authorized by the radiation oncologist. Responsibilities include obtaining images for planning and targeting. You will assess patient condition prior to simulation and treatment. Providing ongoing patient education throughout the course of simulation and treatment is essential. When assigned to CT simulation, you will create immobilization and treatment aid devices. You will operate a CT scanner and MED RAD power injector for IV contrast. Obtaining and analyzing cross-sectional imaging for treatment planning is required. You may perform blood draws as indicated.
