Job description

FOREMAN - EXTERIOR CONSTRUCTION
$28-$36 per hour + Company Vehicle + Benefits + Year-Round Work
NSS Exteriors is a growing specialty contractor that installs skylights, architectural sheet metal, metal panels, glazing systems, and exterior building components throughout the Chicagoland area. We are looking for an experienced Foreman to lead a crew and help us continue to grow.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and direct a field crew on commercial and residential projects.
  • Install skylights, glazing systems, architectural sheet metal, ACM panels, and metal siding.
  • Coordinate daily jobsite activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Read plans and solve field installation challenges.
  • Communicate with project managers, customers, and crew members.
  • Train and mentor crew members.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in construction, roofing, siding, sheet metal, glazing, skylights, carpentry, or a related trade.
  • Previous crew leader, lead installer, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and aerial lifts.
  • Ability to read plans and problem-solve in the field.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Reliable, motivated, and looking for a long-term career.
Experience with architectural sheet metal, ACM panels, skylights, commercial roofing, glazing, or exterior cladding systems is a plus but not required.
