THE ROLE
We are looking to add a NSO Lead Retail Trainer to coordinate new store openings for BRCC. This position will oversee the training process at our New Shop Openings (NSO) - both corporate and franchise locations. They will lead a team of corporate trainers during the opening process. They will ensure the team follows the BRCC processes & procedures. Must be able to travel for 2 weeks at a time.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Clearly communicate training expectations and requirements with the new shop management team and corporate training team.
  • Ensure the consistent training of all new retail team members at a New Shop Opening (NSO) in accordance with Black Rifle Coffee Company standards.
  • Assist with the initial set-up of the shop.
  • Partner with the new shop's management team to train Shift Leads.
  • Conduct Train the Trainer meetings for newly certified trainers during the NSO process.
  • Assist in developing and/or updating training content and programs for New Shop Openings.
  • Observe 1st week of business for ways to optimize performance without compromising customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Train team members for special projects (Bass Pro Shop, Washington Football Team, etc) as needed

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6 month + of proven experience in a training role. Experience opening new locations is preferred.
  • 2+ years working retail or in food and beverage strongly preferred.
  • Able to remain calm in stressful situations and be able to quickly adapt in changing situations.
  • Up to 90% travel required
  • Adhere to varied work hours during store openings
  • Location: San Antonio
