Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Property Specialist I to support enterprise property accountability operations in San Antonio, Texas.

As a Property Specialist I, you will support government property accountability by performing inventory management, asset tracking, shipping and receiving, database maintenance, and audit support activities while ensuring compliance with government regulations and agency policies.

Essential Job Functions:
Maintain accountability for government property throughout its lifecycle, including receipt, shipment, transfer, installation, storage, excess, cannibalization, and disposal.
Perform physical inventories and asset reconciliations using government-approved inventory procedures and timelines.
Maintain accurate asset records through timely and precise data entry into government source systems of record.
Execute shipping, receiving, storage, transportation, packaging, and material handling activities.
Barcode accountable property down to the Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) and ensure all asset information is accurately recorded.
Validate physical assets against inventory records to ensure complete and accurate property accountability.
Conduct annual inventories and reconciliations of Agency-Owned Accountable Property (AOAP) in accordance with NSA-approved methodologies.
Conduct semiannual inventories and reconciliations of Agency-Owned and Non-AOAP Portable Computing Devices (PCDs) within established government timelines.
Support out-of-cycle inventories and special mission inventory requirements as directed by the Government.
Prepare inventory reports and supporting documentation in accordance with government policies and procedures.
Coordinate the issuance, tracking, collection, and compliance of hand receipts.
Support NSA Mock Audits, Office of Inspector General (OIG) financial audits, and other property accountability inspections.
Process property transfers, excess actions, storage transactions, mailing activities, and asset movements within enterprise property systems.
Operate barcode scanners, inventory equipment, and automated inventory control systems.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports and maintain records.
Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, noisy, and warehouse environments.
Communicate effectively with Government personnel, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders.
Perform additional property accountability and logistics duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with a Full-Scope Polygraph.
Valid driver's license issued by a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
In lieu of an Associate's degree, candidates may substitute two (2) years of practical experience in one or more of the following:
  • Government property accountability and asset management
  • Property accounting and inventory control
  • Automated inventory control systems
  • Asset tracking and database management
  • Shipping, receiving, transportation, and logistics operations
  • Packaging, warehousing, and material handling
  • Excess property disposition
  • Government property documentation and accountability processes

Ability to maintain accurate records in high-accountability environments.
Working knowledge of barcode scanners and automated inventory management systems.
