ROLE: - Data Modeler with NoSQL DB (Azure Cosmos DB) experience
LOCATION: - Plano, TX (Remote is acceptable)
DURATION: - Long term contract

  • Work Experience of 9+ years of data modeling experience
  • Transform logical models into physical database designs for relational and NoSQL (Azure Cosmos DB) platforms
  • Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality, reduce redundancy and optimize performance
  • Optimize, update and maintain logical and physical data models, source to target mappings to support new and existing projects
  • Experience architecting solutions leveraging Micorsoft technologies like MS Fabric
  • Experience with Cloud data technologies (eg. Azure DB, and Snowflake)
  • Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models
  • Establish, communicate and enforce best practices and standards
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) and the ability to effectively communicate design recommendations to a varied audience
  • Build positive team dynamics by understanding usability and design principles
