Job description

NorthPoint Aviation is seeking a Line Services Department Manager. Our Line Service Technicians are one of our customersโ€™ first points of contact, who ensure our customer support requirements are met while providing the highest possible level of customer satisfaction and safety.

Aviation Line Services Department Manager duties:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Aviation Line Services and Line Service Personnel.
  • Responsible for training Line Service Technicians on all aspects of Line Service duties.
  • Monthly scheduling Aviationย Line Service Technician staff.
  • Ensure proper staffing and delegate daily duties for Aviation Line Service Technicians.
  • Advertise/screen/hire and terminateย Aviation Line Service Technicians.
  • Complete daily reconciliation paperwork, Dealership Management software program & physical counts.
  • Complete monthly fuel reconciliations by 12:00 pm on the 1st of each month.
  • Work as a team with all departments to assist in aircraft maintenance, avionics, detailing, positioning, and storage of aircraft.
  • Resolve customer service issues pertaining to theย Aviation Line Services Department
  • Initiate incident reporting, investigating and assist creating a solution to prevent further occurrences within theย Aviation Line Services Department.
  • Assist with other customer service duties working with receptionist staff, which may include computer invoicing, computer scheduling of rental aircraft, facilitating rental car service for passengers & crew, facilitating hotel accommodations for passengers & crew, providing fresh coffee for customer lounge and flight crews, etc.
  • Responsible for general cleaning of ramp, customer entrances, General Aviation FBO building and customer area.ย  Snow and ice removal around customer entrance sidewalks and customer ramp entrances.
  • Responsible for fuel quality in fuel storage tanks and fuel delivery trucks daily and record results.
  • Track fuel quantities in fuel storage tanks and fuel delivery trucks daily.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the General Manager.
