Per Diem Hospitalist Opening - Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, NY
Northern Dutchess Hospital of Nuvance Health, proudly joining Northwell, located just two hours north of New York City, is seeking a per diem hospitalist to join its busy and growing program. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine w/ Hospitalist experience.
Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) is a 68-bed acute care not-for-profit community hospital. NDH has an excellent medical staff, exceptional anesthesia, and 24/7 hospitalist coverage. The hospital has recently renovated operating rooms, a brand new, top-rated emergency department, and fully modernized patient care areas. Northern Dutchess is part of Nuvance Health, a seven hospital system and multi-specialty practice including Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Rhinebeck is part of one of the largest historic districts in the United States located along the scenic Hudson River. Rhinebeck offers New York City culture in a friendly, small town setting. The town offers a plethora of restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, as well as larger events at the Dutchess Country Fairgrounds. Outdoor enthusiasts will find great skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and boating nearby. We are seeking a hospitalist who desires to escape the hustle and bustle of big city living, while retaining access to top-rated restaurants, performing arts centers, museums, excellent housing and school systems, and prestigious colleges and universities. New York City is easily accessible via Amtrak.
The Hudson Valley boasts a terrific quality of life. From hiking, biking, and boating, to cafes, art galleries, and local farmers markets, this beautiful suburban location offers endless ways to spend your leisure time. Excellent housing and outstanding schools can be found throughout the region. The Mid-Hudson Valley is also home to many fine colleges and universities, including Vassar College, Bard College, Marist College, SUNY New Paltz, and the Culinary Institute of America. Only 75 minutes north of New York City, the area offers easy commuter access to the city via Metro North Rail Road and Amtrak rail lines. Our vibrant cities and picturesque villages interweave culture, history and recreation in one of the country's most livable locations.
