Build & Lead the Northern California Practice

  • Establish and scale TYLin's Rail & Transit presence across Northern California.

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team built around your vision and leadership style.

  • Create a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and collaboration from day one.

  • Take full ownership of regional performance-including P&L, hiring strategy, and growth trajectory.

Drive Market Presence & Client Relationships

  • Act as a senior face of TYLin across key agencies including Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Caltrain, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, and Capitol Corridor.

  • Expand andleverageyour network to open doors, win work, and position TYLin for major programs and pursuits.

  • Build strategic partnerships with owners, design-build teams, and industry collaborators.

Shape Strategy & Win Work

  • Define and execute a regional growth strategy aligned with national Rail & Transit priorities.

  • Lead pursuits from early positioning through capture and proposal strategy.

  • Build a sustainable backlog through a mix of relationships, reputation, and disciplinedpursuitmanagement.

Oversee Delivery of Complex Programs

  • Provide executive oversight on major transit and rail projects.

  • Guide teams on risk, contract strategy, and multidisciplinary coordination.

  • Ensure delivery meets TYLin's standards for quality, safety, and innovation.

What You Bring

  • Significant, demonstrated experience in Rail & Transit, with a strongtrack recordin both delivery and business growth.

  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling teams, groups, or regional practices.

  • Proven ability to manage P&L, forecasting, and operational performance.

  • Deep relationships across the Northern California transit ecosystem.

  • Background in complex, multidisciplinary rail/transit programs (systems, infrastructure, or both).

  • Bachelor's orMaster's in Engineering(Civil, Electrical, Systems, or related).

  • PElicensepreferred.
