Job description

This role offers the support from two hospitals:

  1. AR. Gould Hospital (ARGH), located in Presque Isle, ME. We are an 89-bed acute care hospital located near the Canadian border. Aroostook County’s largest hospital and leading provider of healthcare services offering 24-hour emergency services, complete cancer care services, a day surgery center, the region’s most comprehensive imaging center, and several specialty services.
  2. Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC), located in Bangor, ME about 2.5 hours south of Presque Isle. EMMC is one of only two cancer centers in Maine to be a part of a formal collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Care Collaborative, having access to over (55) adult oncology clinical trials.

This provider would work on-site at A.R. Gould Hospital while being employed through Eastern Maine Medical Center – the best of both worlds! This unique opportunity would provide exceptional support from our level II trauma and tertiary care center, while allowing the provider to live and work in northern Maine!

Compensation Information:

  • $522,181 base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity and quality incentives. 
  • The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.  The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
