Position Overview

Northern Health System Counseling, PLLC, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while providing critical mental health support in a school environment located in Denver, Colorado. Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, enabling you to engage with clients and colleagues from the comfort of your home while still maintaining a strong connection to the educational institutions we serve. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions for students with varying degrees of mental health challenges, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of students, followed by developing integrated care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to facilitate communication and ensure a holistic approach to each student’s treatment.
• Engage in crisis intervention work when necessary, employing clinical skills to stabilize and support students in urgent need.
• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring timely reporting and communication with relevant stakeholders regarding treatment efficacy and outcomes.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case management and contribute to the continuous improvement of our mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with a youth population, including children and adolescents who are confronted with significant mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related challenges. It is crucial that you have the passion and commitment to support students within this demographic, ensuring they receive the help needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Colorado.
• Two years of direct counseling experience, particularly in a school-based or community mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues affecting children and adolescents, along with exemplary communication skills to engage effectively with young individuals and another multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting while adhering to ethical guidelines and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy and support within educational settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities suited for youth.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by under-served communities.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
