Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapeutic plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that adheres to legal standards and ethical guidelines while ensuring a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share insights, and enhance treatment outcomes for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and staying informed on the latest research and developments in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be serving diverse populations, primarily targeting individuals and families who have limited access to mental health services. Our focus includes addressing a wide range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in bridging the gap for those in need, providing compassionate care, and facilitating recovery and growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical environment.
• A strong foundation in legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies for maintaining accurate documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience working in community health settings or with underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
