Zedcor is looking to add a Junior Business System Administrator to its growing accounting team in Houston. This is not a remote position. This will be an integral role within our accounting team. Working closely with the controller and senior financial accountant, this role will include a mix of tasks that require attention to detail and an aptitude for numbers. This position will be based out of our Houston office and will be perfect if you are detailed oriented, have a positive can-do attitude and are looking to grow your career. • Assist with implementing accounting/finance related projects
• Ability to work with NetSuite ERP system
• Ability to customize and build NetSuite forms, fields and workflow
• Develop simple scripts using JavaScript to help automate repetitive tasks
• Extract, clean and analyze data from NetSuite using Microsoft Excel
• Respond to internal and external emails, phone calls and other correspondence in a timely fashion
• Perform other duties as requested, general office duties

• A bachelor’s degree in business or analytics-related fields
• Must be intelligent, hard working with a positive attitude; willing to assist with tasks outside of normal day to day tasks
• Self-starter, driven and motivated to work independently with little oversight
• Strong aptitude for numbers, ability to analyze a large volume of data and present insights in a concise manner for audience
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of NetSuite, and other modern accounting software
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; proficient in use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
