• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies for each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, which may include individual, couple, and group therapy sessions.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailoring approaches to address specific client needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care that encompasses various aspects of client health and wellness.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards within the field of mental health.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, attend workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest research and techniques in mental health treatment.

The Licensed Professional Counselor at Northbay Wellness Clinic will work primarily with individuals and families experiencing a diverse range of mental health issues. Many clients may be facing obstacles due to socioeconomic factors, making access to mental health services essential for their well-being. This role emphasizes cultural competence and the ability to build rapport with a variety of clients, which is crucial for effective therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.
• Minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably within a clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical considerations in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies for documentation and client management.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience in providing telehealth services or remote counseling is a plus.

• Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
