About MidAtlantic OTI Education Center:
The MidAtlantic OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Center is a leading provider of high-quality safety and health training in compliance with OSHA standards. We are committed to equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to promote safe and healthy workplaces. As an authorized OTI Education Center, we deliver a wide range of OSHA courses to workers, employers, and safety professionals across the Mid-Atlantic region. Northampton Community College is a consortium partner with Chesapeake Regions Safety Council. Together we are the MidAtlantic OTI Education Center.

MidAtlantic OTI Education Center/NCC is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in occupational safety and health, a passion for adult education, and the ability to engage diverse learners. This role is critical in supporting our mission to deliver impactful, up-to-date training that meets OSHA standards and industry best practices.

Deliver OSHA-authorized training courses (10- and 30-hour Outreach Training, 500, 501, 510, 511, and other OSHA numbered courses).

Customize content to suit the needs of various industries and learners.

Facilitate interactive and engaging classroom or virtual learning experiences.

Maintain accurate course records and documentation.

Stay current on OSHA regulations, industry trends, and adult learning methodologies.

Represent the MidAtlantic OTI Education Center in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

Qualifications:

OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer (Construction and/or General Industry).

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of practical safety and health experience.

Prior teaching or training experience preferred, especially with adult learners.

Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.

Ability to travel to regional training locations (if applicable).
