• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with mental health needs, focusing on substance abuse treatment.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Provide psychotherapy sessions, delivering therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) aimed at promoting recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate coordinated care strategies for patients, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Educate clients and their families about available mental health resources and strategies for managing substance abuse challenges.
• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in the field, integrating new knowledge into your practice.
• Effectively manage your caseload, aim to meet defined treatment goals, and uphold ethical standards within the profession.

You will work primarily with individuals dealing with substance abuse issues and accompanying mental health disorders. This diverse population includes adults from various backgrounds facing unique challenges. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their recovery journeys, using tailored approaches that resonate with their specific circumstances and needs.

• Must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly within the realm of substance abuse therapy.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based interventions and solution-based therapeutic approaches.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

While 1 year of clinical experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with additional experience in integrating trauma-informed care or working in a hospice setting will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will also be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
