Location: Huntington Beach, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Range: $22-$25 an hour | Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm

As an Automotive Finance Assistant, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach.  You’re responsible for creating a super experience for our guests by using your exceptionally strong organizational and time management skills. 

 Your work will ensure guests are our primary focus and leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves Honda experience. This role is a great way for a highly motivated person with great follow through skills to launch your career with us!

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Finance Managers and the business office in ensuring prompt processing of all deals
  • Ensuring the correct flow of documents from the Finance department to the business office
  • Check and review all incoming deals from Finance for accuracy and document completion
  • Process prior day deals and report development to management
  • Package documents for DMV and finance institutions
  • Process all vehicle sales documentation – contracts, incentives, etc.
  • Fax, email, and mail documents as needed for funding and record retention
  • Performs general office duties such as reports, keeping filing up-to-date, scanning, photocopying and faxing vehicle documents as needed
  • Answer customers questions regarding the sales transaction
  • Achieve or exceed group standards such as sales production, gross profit and applicable benchmarks which result in profitability and customer service satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate with Sales Managers and Sales Personnel to strengthen processes
  • Any additional responsibilities requested by the Finance Director

What You’ll Need:

  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Previous automotive experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in the following software: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in team-based and independent settings
