About the Program
Nordstrom Future Nordstrom Leaders (FNL) is an accelerated program designed to prepare Nordstrom employees to become retail leaders. You'll learn management essentials, gain hands-on selling experience, and rotate through both Nordstrom Store and Nordstrom Rack to understand operations in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
  • Drive sales every day. Selling is a key part of this role - building customer relationships and delivering legendary service is essential to your success.
  • Lead and motivate teams while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Embody Nordstrom's core values by bringing your authentic self to work. Create a welcoming, inclusive environment and embrace diversity as you lead and support your team.
  • Learn merchandising, goal setting, and operational standards.
  • Network with leaders and peers across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.
  • Participate fully in all training sessions and store rotations.

What's Next?
  • Interviews: September 3rd - 18th
  • Program runs: October 5 - October 16
  • Post-Training Placement: Participants who successfully complete the FNL program may be eligible for placement into an Assistant Department Manager role at a Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack within commuting distance of the host stores. Placement depends on store needs and vacancies, and immediate placement is not guaranteed. Participants who are not immediately placed will return to their previous roles until they can be placed into an Assistant Department Manager role.

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$16.30 - $16.30 Hourly
At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men's Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
