The Worker is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fundraising Database Specialist to serve as the primary steward of our donor database and fundraising data systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic use of donor information to support fundraising success and organizational growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesDonor Database Management
  • Maintain, update, and manage donor and prospective constituent records in Bloomerang.
  • Process and record gifts accurately across all campaigns, appeals, and funds.
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of donor data through ongoing database maintenance.
  • Monitor and resolve duplicate records, coding issues, and data discrepancies.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain fundraising dashboards to track:
    • Revenue performance
    • Donor retention
    • Lapsed donor reactivation
    • Donor upgrades
    • New donor acquisition
    • Grant pipeline activity
  • Generate recurring reports and year-over-year fundraising analyses.
  • Segment donor data to support targeted fundraising and marketing initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reconciliation & Gift Administration
  • Reconcile donation records between Bloomerang and QuickBooks on a regular basis.
  • Ensure gift processing is timely, accurate, and properly documented.
  • Manage donor acknowledgment processes and ensure thank-you communications are sent within 48 hours of gift receipt.
Team Collaboration
  • Participate in Development team meetings and provide data-driven insights and updates.
  • Collaborate with Development, Finance, vendors, and other stakeholders to improve processes and advance fundraising objectives.
  • Proactively identify data challenges, opportunities, and process improvements.
QualificationsRequired Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience working with data and advanced Excel functions.
  • Experience managing and maintaining donor databases (Bloomerang experience preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with fundraising, donor management, or nonprofit development.
  • Data analytics and reporting experience.
  • Knowledge of donor stewardship and fundraising metrics.
  • Experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms.

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Travel between The Worker sites as needed for meetings, training, and operational support.
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability for fundraising events and organizational activities.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to hire.
