The service line is provider led in tandem with operational leaders.**Job Description:****Principle Responsibilities*** Provide direct patient care on an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit to a diverse population* Develops behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders* Consults with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of their patients.**Required Qualifications*** Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine* Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training**Licenses/Certifications*** MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required* BE/BC with completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training* Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)* Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)* Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable* BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire**Physical Demands*** Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (\*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently**Pay Range**### Pay Range: $340,025 to $351,000 per year### The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE.
