Job Description:
SUMMARY
Student Production Office (SPO) candidates will participate and assist in many creative roles to complete assigned college media based projects. Projects may range from photography, graphic & web design, speaker support design & creation, storyboard illustration, animations, all aspects and phases of video production, multi-camera productions, location audio recording, audio & video support for live events, and post production sound design. Students will receive guidance & supervision from the SPO & Television and Video Production staff on all assigned projects. Candidates must be client service oriented, have good communication skills, and be a team player. Quality and integrity of projects must be maintained at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Attend weekly production meetings
  • Work assigned weekly schedule
  • Follow all SPO policies & procedures
  • Assist the Television & Video Services staff
  • Perform duties as assigned by project manager
  • Meet assignment deadlines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled in classes at Tri-C
  • Completed ENG 1010 College Composition I
  • Have completed 12 credits of college coursework
  • GPA of 2.5 or above.
  • Declared Major in Creative Arts or Experience in Motion Media Creation
  • Working toward an Associate's Degree or Certification
  • Flexible, reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Understanding of the video production process
  • Have strong visual composition & screen design skills
  • Proficiency with digital video camera operation, 3 point lighting, or location audio
