Job description

We are filling multiple Sewing Machine Operator positions in the Duquesne area. You will fill, sew and bag pillows.
1st/2nd Shift Available

These Machine Operator positions require a 2-2-3 work schedule. The benefits of this schedule are only working 14 days a month, every other week you get OT, and every other week you have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!

Sewing Machine Operator Duties:
  • Operate single needle sewing machines
  • You will fill pillow shells with fiber, place the pillow on the conveyor and check pillow weight
  • Responsible for replacing needles and re-threading machines
  • Safety is a priority. All employees are responsible for careful and safe use of all equipment and property.
  • Experience as an Industrial Seamstress, Tailor, or Embroiderer helpful, but not required

Sewing Machine Operator Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds & basic math skills
  • 12-hour shifts: 6a - 6p @ $15.05 per hour – weekly pay
  • 6pm-6am @ $16.05 per hour - weekly pay
  • Medical, Dental & Life insurance available
