How rare is an eidetic memory?

Eidetic memory, often called photographic memory, is extremely rare, with only a small percentage of the population exhibiting this ability. Most individuals with exceptional memory skills do not have true eidetic memory, which is characterized by the vivid, detailed recall of images or scenes without conscious effort. In the context of jobs like Non Union Photographic Memory, such abilities are considered uncommon and are not typically relied upon as a standard skill set.

Eidetic memory, often associated with photographic memory, does not necessarily correlate with high IQ. While some individuals with exceptional memory skills may have above-average intelligence, eidetic memory itself is a specific visual recall ability and is not a reliable indicator of overall IQ or cognitive ability. In the context of jobs like non-union photography, strong visual memory can be beneficial but does not guarantee higher intelligence levels.

How to make money with a photographic memory?

A non-union photographic memory professional can monetize their skill by working in fields such as forensic analysis, security, or data management, where strong visual recall is valuable. They can also offer specialized services like memory training, tutoring, or consulting for organizations that require precise visual information retention. Developing certifications or expertise in relevant tools can enhance earning potential in these roles.
