Summary

PRN POSITION (AS NEEDED) 

Summary: Prepares and cooks foods for the hospital patients, staff, and visitors as directed by management. Responsible for overall sanitation of the department.

Responsibilities: Reviews production sheets to determine types and quantity of product to be used. Plans a cooking schedule and utilization of leftovers, keeping waste and leftovers to a minimum. Ensures food quality by following proper food preparation, handling and sanitation techniques. Cleans and sanitizes preparation area and equipment. Provides assistance to the tray line
