Epicor ERP Business Analyst / Continuous Improvement Analyst


About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Business Analyst to join a stable, employee-owned manufacturing organization with a rich history dating back to 1936. The company transitioned to an ESOP several years ago and is entering an exciting period of growth, modernization, and potential acquisitions


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging manufacturing operations, ERP systems, data analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will become a key member of a small but highly impactful ERP team and serve as a strategic partner to operations, leadership, and end users throughout the organization.


Position Overview

This role combines Epicor ERP administration, business analysis, data analytics, reporting, and process improvement. The organization is looking for someone who can leverage data to identify opportunities, improve processes, drive operational efficiency, and support decision-making across the business.


The ideal candidate understands both manufacturing operations and data. They can work comfortably with shop floor users, office personnel, leadership teams, and technical resources while translating business needs into actionable solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary Epicor ERP resource supporting business users across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and administration.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Epicor, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Cleanse, validate, and analyze data to improve business visibility and decision-making.
  • Utilize emerging technologies, including AI-driven reporting and analytics tools, to improve operational insights.
  • Support Epicor upgrades, enhancements, and future cloud migration initiatives.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams in both machine shop and assembly environments.
  • Assist with Epicor administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Partner with leadership to optimize workflows across Configure-to-Order (CTO) and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) operations
  • Document business requirements and coordinate with technical resources on system improvements and customizations.

Required

  • 5-8 years of Epicor ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement
