Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Painter to join our team for a full-time position. In this role, you will ensure that all painted surfaces meet our high standards of quality and finish, contributing to the overall excellence of our production process. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is able to patch and paint sheetrock walls in office setting, possesses knowledge/experience installing corner guards, and complete small carpentry tasks.  
 
Pay: $27.00 per hour. 
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
M-F  9:00 am to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
       Project planning 
       Experience with Scuff Master Paint 
       Able to install wall blocking for monitors 
       Knowledgeable on reading floor plans
       Computer experience on ticketing systems, emails, Microsoft Word
       Daily & weekly status report
       Ability to set up and work on ladders and scaffolding
       Be able to lift 50 lbs.
       Daily clean up after task completion
       Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments 
       Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work 
       Select materials necessary for the work 
       Paint walls, woodwork, and fixtures 
       Identify surface peculiarities and determine the types of paint required for different applications 
       Prepare surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes
       Mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency 
       Use spray gun and/or brush to apply paint
 
 
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial painting highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and appropriate tools for touch-up work.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Commitment to quality, safety, and productivity standards.
