Internship Opportunity

THE·TEAM is proud to provide representation and marketing services to talent, brands and properties across 28 countries and more than 70 cities worldwide. Shaped by our belief in the unifying power of sports, music and entertainment, THE·TEAM leads with intelligence, ideas and influence.

This role will be responsible for THE•TEAM's Great China Region's athlete servicing, social media and administrative work. Candidate should be 3rd or 4th year undergrad business students who are bilingual and passionate about sports.

Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with THE•TEAM, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.

Duties
  • Chinese social media:
  • THE•TEAM athletes' social media posts content sourcing and editing
  • THE•TEAM corporate social media posts content sourcing and editing
  • Weekly Weibo plan to athletes' managers and THE•TEAM PR
  • Monthly summary report of athletes' accounts and Wasserman
  • Player bio and videos:
  • Use synergy site and be able to download from English sites and upload videos to Chinese sites as part of THE•TEAM client's bio creation for Chinese pro leagues – CBA, NBL, WCBA, etc.
  • Translate player bios from English to Chinese
  • Athlete/team hospitality & Event support:
  • Great servicing mentality and being able to service THE•TEAM Chinese athlete clients and team clients while in the USA.
  • Support of offline event and content shooting execution in the USA
Skills/Qualifications
  • Candidate should be 3rd or 4th year undergrad business students who are bilingual and passionate about sports.
  • Bilingual candidate in both Mandarin (native) and English (native or fluent). Possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing in both Mandarin and English.
  • Sleeves rolled up attitude, with ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and be able to create a rapport with people of all demographics.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, confident and mature in dealings with clients, people and issues.
  • High level of initiative and works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Requires self-management, including the ability to assess a situation and quickly implement solutions.
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible enough to react under stressful, event-time circumstances.
  • Be familiar with PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop and iMovie or related content editing software.
  • Be familiar with both Chinese/Overseas social media platforms, such us content downloading, post scheduling, etc.
  • Be creative!
