About The Role:

This is an on-site position based in our San Luis Obispo office. Travel to client offices and other sites is required.

The Deposit Relationship Manager develops new business relationships and augments existing business relationships through the utilization of all bank services, participation in community and non-profit organizations, and an active business development calling program.

  • Calls on existing customers to maintain and expand banking relationships; calls on prospective customers to develop new business.
  • Cross sells all bank products and services in a professional manner.
  • Representing the company in a professional manner at various community events or sponsored activities of the company. Will coordinate all involvement to ensure the bank is represented at significant community events.
  • Receives work assignments from the Regional President based on current needs.
  • Assists Relationship Managers with calling efforts, follow up for gathering of complete financial packages and updates, document signing, and all other related support activities.
  • Attends all appropriate meetings, classes, and seminars related to maintaining and developing all general banking and credit-specific skills and expertise.
  • Researches, recommends and tracks donation requests by non-profit organizations.
  • Works within time frame guidelines to manage the overall workload. Must prioritize all business development, relationship management, and community involvement activities on an ongoing basis.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of branch management, including sales, customer service, risk management, and management principles.
  • Working knowledge of consumer and Business Deposit Products as applicable to the branchโ€™s target market.
  • Working knowledge of principles and methods of organization and management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of files and privileged information.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently organize work files.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, proven sales and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience required.
