Non-Originating Branch Manager

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time Non Originating Branch Manager to be responsible for supervising their own branch and business development. Candidates should have experience directly related to the Mortgage Industry. Under the direct supervision of the Area Manager, the job responsibilities of the Non Originating Branch Manager position include, but are not limited, to the following:



  • Establish and maintain client referral relationships with Realtors, builders and developers and make sales calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or retain existing business.

  • Recruit and hire MLOs for the branch and motivate staff to achieve maximum production levels.

  • Act as a resource for branch staff

  • Train and oversee the branch staff relative to proper techniques and standards, with appropriate follow-through.

  • Monitor quality of loans originated by MLOs and ensure they are within company policy guidelines. Also, monitor MLO compensation plans and keep them in balance with production.

  • Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.


This position is prohibited from discussing and/or negotiating loan terms with borrowers. This position is prohibited from taking a loan application.


Qualifications

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies.

  • Must have a working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors.

  • Must be familiar with local, state and national laws (e.g. zoning ordinances, Truth-in Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, etc.).

  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze financial information.

  • Must be a sales-oriented self-starter.
