Registered Nurse (RN) - Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Position Type: Contract / Travel Assignment

Shift: 4x8s Nights / NOC (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Expected Start Date: 8/11/2026

Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,988.46 / week ($1,690.19 – $1,988.46/week range)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment at a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in De Pere, Wisconsin. This family-owned facility has over 50 years of exceptional community care and offers a supportive clinical environment across short-term rehab and long-term care settings.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to short-term rehabilitation, long-term care (LTC), sub-acute, and post-acute patients.
  • Perform skilled nursing interventions, including wound care, stoma care, wound vacs, Foley catheter care, ileostomy/colostomy care, and tube feedings (Peg, J-tube, G-tube, tube feed pumps).
  • Provide basic tracheostomy care (no ventilator care required).
  • Administer medications and IV therapies (IV fluids and antibiotics); perform IV insertions and blood draws as required.
  • Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation via Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Demonstrate versatility by floating as needed across facility units (Rehab, SNF, LTAC, LTC, and Short-Term Stay).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), LTAC, or Rehabilitation settings.
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or valid Compact RN license with an unencumbered license history.
  • Certifications:
    • Active BLS/CPR certification required.
    • IV certification/proficiency preferred.
  • Location Constraint: Must reside at least 50 minutes outside of the facility location (no local candidates).
